- Merimbula A Great Place30/10/2010 - 2:31pm30/10/2010
Very intersting place to stay, clean and loads to do with the kids. Best thing was being so close to the beach for the kids and fishing, it was still quite cool but we did manage a couple of quick dips in the ocean. Saw some great whale's out a fair distance which was a great thrill. People in the office put us onto a great new website called www.merimbula.com.au which had some good up to date information, great info on beaches and fishing for those intersted. A must is to visit the National Parks around this neck of the woods, no traffic and no people anywhere which was amazing as we are use to the busy Sydney life, Some good food around the town, clubs are the go as they are value if you have a family, oysters are local which are yummy. Next time we will get a cabin as the caravan is now getting a little small as the kids grow. Recommend this resort to anyone and as the locals say, Merimbula's Magic

My partner and i just came back from the beautiful merimbula holiday park. This was the second time we have stayed there, first with our two daughters {6yr and 2 month old baby} and this time just on our own for some time out. The park is beautiful and there areso many things to do in it. Its a great family park with lots of kid activities and a awesome place just to chill out as we did. We will always remember this holiday park, as it was where we stayed when we got engaged just two days ago. The people there are so friendly and helpful, we reccomend it to anyone who wants to either have some down time or wants to have a active, fun filled holiday. Thank you to all the staff and also to Nicky for having us, we had a awesome time!!!!

We have just experienced a fantastic 3 day family reunion at The Merimbula Beach Holiday Park. The accommodation was excellent and the rates very reasonable. Our family, all 33 of us (from all over Australia) including kids, enjoyed all facilities, BBQ, Jumping Pillow, Playground, Pool etc. We had booked a range of Bungalows including The Beach House. The views, weather, wildlife, surf and beach were enjoyed by all, especially the kids. We would recomend this location to all families if you are looking for a place to hold a family reunion . Thanks for making our stay a special time to remember. Kind regards, Brendan (and the other 32).

Yesterday evening I spent one night in the Oceanbreeze Spa Villa and would like to inform you that I am SO PLEASED!!! I was very impressed with the accommodation and it was very much above my expectations! The facilities provided were more than necessary and catered to every need we had.
Your reception staff upon arrival and departure were pleasant, the accommodation was clean, very very comfortable, in excellent condition (nice and modern) and I believe we definetely got value for money.
Thank you so much for making a nights getaway so great!

Our family was lucky enough to have booked a Clifftop Ocean Condo - in a spectacular position, perched high on the clifftop for the weekend.
Friday night the weather was so mild, we sat on the deck under the stars listening to the waves caressing the rock platform below.
On Saturday we did some craft with Ema-Jade in the Kids Korner, then ventured on to the Aquarium.
Saturday evening we witnessed the Lunar Eclipse - it seemed we had front row seats!
We all had a ball - the park offers first class facilities and the staff are so friendly - we can't wait to come back.Written by: Cuthbert Family
